tie dye
In the courtyard at the Swarthmore Centre in Leeds, where I was taking photographs for the Life Room project with Suki, there were many pieces of tie dyed material hanging and drying. This is one of them.

that drainpipe again ...
I love the contrast of the colours. The pink in the background was from some dyed cloth hanging to dry. More of that to come.

drainpipe
... or is it called a "downspout" in the US? It is a different language over there. In any case it is hard to see what it is. I found it in the courtyard at the Swarthmore Centre in Leeds where I was taking photographs for the Life Room project with Suki.
I like the scratched initials and the colour contrasts. Another view of it tomorrow.

fire escape with leaves
Last Saturday I was at the Swarthmore Centre in Leeds with Suki taking photographs for the Life Room project. The art room was through a courtyard and I took some photos in the courtyard. I'll publish them here over the next few days.

waxwings
Not very good photos I'm afraid - just a quick couple of snaps with the lens I had fitted. A bloke had started chatting to me earlier in the day outside the Swarthmore Centre where I was supposed to be meeting Suki. He said he was a birdwatcher and was looking for waxwings that frequented the squares in Leeds, stripping trees of their berries. Later in the afternoon I saw them there in Woodhouse Square in Leeds.

leaves
On Saturday I was at the Swarthmore Centre in Leeds taking photographs for the Life Room project with Suki. I'll publish a few of the photographs I took then over the next few days. Here are some leaves lit by the late afternoon, autumnal sun in Woodhouse Square.
